P / PF Series

These wire (P series) or foil (PF series) gauges have a polyester resin backing and are longer gauges designed for use on larger structures or concrete specimens. Choose a gauge length that is at least 3 x the average aggregate diameter for good strain measurement in concrete applications. Ensure that your surface is properly prepared and that you coat the installation adequately for the test environment – please contact us for any advice.
